i. Information Collected via the "Ride Recorder" App: Since the primary function of the App is to record and analyze physical activity, we collect certain data automatically:
- Precise Location Data: We collect your real-time location (GPS data) while the App is running, and optionally in the background if you grant permission, to track and map your ride routes, distance, and speed.
- Activity/Performance Data: We collect detailed metrics about your ride, including speed, altitude/elevation, time, distance, calories burned, average/maximum performance, and climb gradient.
- Sensor Data: If you connect external Bluetooth devices (such as heart rate monitors, power meters, or VARIA radar), we collect the data generated by those sensors (e.g., heart rate, power output).
- Synced Data: If you choose to connect your Strava account, we access and store information necessary to upload your rides to Strava or load Strava routes. This interaction is governed by Strava’s terms and privacy policy.
- Device and Usage Data: We collect technical information about the device you use to access the App, such as your device ID, operating system version, and App performance data (crash logs, diagnostics).
- Data Syncing: Your ride history and application settings are synced and stored securely to allow access across your devices.
ii. Information Collected via the Website:
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like Google Analytics) to track the activity on our website and hold certain information. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited.

- To Provide and Maintain the Service: To operate the App's core functions, including recording, mapping, and displaying your ride data and syncing your history.
- To Personalize Your Experience: To display customizable data pages, allow for light/dark theme settings, and store your preferred units (metric/imperial).
- Account Management: To create, manage, and verify your user account, and facilitate syncing between devices.
- Communication: To send you updates, service announcements, and respond to your support requests or questions.
- Improvement and Analysis: To monitor usage, perform analysis, and gather valuable information so we can diagnose problems, improve performance, and develop new features (e.g., navigation).
- Compliance and Safety: To comply with legal obligations and protect the security and integrity of our services.

- With Your Consent: We will share your information when you explicitly direct us to, such as when you connect your account to Strava or another third-party service to save or load routes.
